Privacy policy

Loopline · Last updated 3 November 2026

The short version. Loopline has no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no analytics. Your progress, stats and settings are saved on your iPhone and never sent to us. The only thing that involves anyone else is the optional one-time purchase, which Apple handles.

Who we are

Loopline is made by CosmoLabs Ltd, registered in Scotland (company number SC883326). We are the controller for any personal data described here. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZC111592). Contact: hello@cosmolabs.co.uk.

What stays on your phone

This information is stored on your iPhone only. The Loopline widget reads some of it through a storage area that is shared between the app and its widget on your device. None of it is sent to us. If you delete the app, it is erased.

What leaves your phone

Nothing else leaves your phone. Loopline does not connect to any server of ours.

What we do not do

No accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking across other apps or websites, and nothing sold or shared for advertising. Loopline contains no third-party analytics or advertising code. On the App Store privacy label we declare that we collect no data.

Children

Loopline is suitable for all ages. It has no ads, no chat and no way for players to contact each other, and it collects no names, emails or other personal details from anyone, including children. The one optional purchase is controlled by Apple's own purchase settings, such as Ask to Buy and Screen Time.

Legal basis

The only personal data we ever hold is what you choose to email us. We handle it because it is needed to answer you, which is our legitimate interest, and we keep it only as long as needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to our use of it, and to ask for a copy. Email hello@cosmolabs.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If we ever add something that collects data, such as online leaderboards, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label first.
