We built LtdBooks so that we can't see your figures. A few things have to leave your phone for the app to work, and we list every one of them in the privacy policy.

- Photos stay put. Receipt photos are read on your phone. Only the text is sent for the AI to read the details.

Prices include VAT. Subscriptions are sold through the App Store, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in your Apple account settings. The launch price is held for as long as you stay subscribed. Invoices made on the free plan carry a small "Created with LtdBooks" line at the foot of the page; Pro removes it.

Questions, answered.
Is LtdBooks a replacement for my accountant?
No. LtdBooks keeps your records tidy and prepares everything your accountant needs, so their job is quicker. It doesn't file your accounts or tax returns, and nothing in it is tax advice. Check anything important with your accountant.
Where is my data kept?
On your iPhone, and in your own private iCloud if you turn on iCloud sync. We don't run accounts or a database of your records, so we can't see them. The privacy policy lists the few things that do leave your phone and why.
I've got a new iPhone. How do I move my books?
If iCloud sync is on, sign in to the same Apple account on the new phone and install LtdBooks: your books come back automatically. If you prefer, export a backup file from More → Backup & restore and open it on the new phone.
How do I cancel Pro?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then LtdBooks. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and you keep everything you've recorded afterwards.
I've paid for Pro but it isn't showing.
In LtdBooks, go to More → Subscription and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple account you subscribed with.
Can I get a refund?
App Store purchases are refunded by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something isn't working, email us first and we'll try to put it right.
Does it work for sole traders?
Not at the moment. LtdBooks is built around the rules for UK limited companies: Corporation Tax, Companies House deadlines, salary and dividends.
