What stays on your phone

This information is not sent to us. If you delete the app, it is erased.

What leaves your phone

What we do not do

No accounts, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. The App Store privacy label for Retro Tapper reports that no data is collected.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, they are local reminders created on your phone, for example to tell you a machine is ready. No notification service of ours is involved and nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game settings or in iOS Settings.

Children

Retro Tapper is designed to be suitable for families. It has no ads, no gambling, no chat and no way for players to contact each other, and it collects no personal data from anyone, including children. Purchases are optional and are controlled by Apple's own purchase settings, such as Ask to Buy and Screen Time. Game Center is run by Apple and is subject to Apple's rules.

Legal basis

The only personal data we ever hold is what you choose to email us. We handle it because it is needed to answer you, which is our legitimate interest, and we keep it only as long as needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to our use of it, and to ask for a copy. Email hello@cosmolabs.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If the changes are significant we will say so on the game's page.
